Meet CYOA

     Hello, and welcome aboard.  Since 1980, CYOA has earned a reputation of excellence in the charter industry.  We specialize in Virgin Islands sailing vacations.  We are small by choice, and we are proud to offer highly personalized service.  Our yachts are first class.  Our crew is made up of sailors who "have done" the Virgins.   We love sailing and people, and it shows.  Our goal is to have you experience the vacation of a lifetime.

     Who are we?  All the people at CYOA live in the Virgin Islands.  We have come from many different walks of life and decided this is the place to be.  We have a fleet of well maintained boats available for bareboat charters.  We feel our rates are reasonable year round and that we have some of the best specials!

     Where are we?  CYOA has a special location on the island of St. Thomas.  We are on the west side of the island in a community called Frenchtown, and Frenchtown is on the west side of the main harbor of Charlotte Amalie.  Boaters are always welcome, as boats and fishing are a part of life for many Frenchtown residents.

     Frenchtown Harbor Marina is a new facility.  It is a small marina that houses our bareboat fleet, private yachts and visiting yachts.  Marina facilities include clean rest rooms with hot and cold water and showers, ice machine, a neighborhood laundromat, convenience store, post office and bank a short walk away.

     Why is the location so great?   You'll be doing less commuting!  Several major airlines offer jet service from the states to our International airport.  We're under 10 minutes away, you'll be on board before you know it.  Most of our guests enjoy their first night dockside, surrounded by the sparkle and lights of downtown, festive party boats and the grand cruise ships.  The next morning, after checkout, you'll be off to a great vacation    Also, depending on your flight schedule, you still may be able to sail the morning you return your boat.

Dine at one of the great restaurants in our neighborhood and meet the locals - from open-air pubs, gourmet menus, champagne and wine bar, deli, coffee shop and pizza.

A short, safe walk to downtown Charlotte Amalie is fund for duty-free shopping or browsing.  It is a photogenic town with many historic buildings and great variety of stores.  You'll find fine jewelry, perfumes, cameras and electronic equipment.
